We moved to Kansas after finishing six years of college. We are just about to finish our first year as pharmacists. When we moved to Kansas, we bought our first house together. It is a 2 story farmhouse that was built in 1900. We were told by the previous owners that it was moved to its current location in 1960 by a religious group/hippies. The previous owners bought it from the cult/hippies in 1995, and started doing really fun things, like painting rooms dark blue with spray paint, and seeing how much dog hair can accumulate in 15 years if you don’t sweep your house. We have been working on our house since April ’07, so we’ve already done a lot of work. We started this blog as a way to keep our family and friends posted on what’s going on.
